April 26, 2025 1pm - 3pm Cornerstone Church of Highland 4995 N. Hickory Ridge Road, Highland Oakland County Sheriff’s Office  - the Community Foundation, and the Cornerstone Church of Highland, present a Community Policing and Educational Event - This one-day event is an educational and informational opportunity that focuses on breaking down the barriers of ideology and misinformation to rebuild the network of trust between law enforcement and our communities. Attendees will meet with OCSO staff and discuss advances in responding to a mental health crisis, de-escalation, and peer support. You will also be given the opportunity to "train" using the latest law enforcement technology including our Community Outreach Driving Simulator and our APEX Officer VR simulator.
