Thanks to a generous Knights of Columbus donation, Spring Mills Elementary added 3 core boards to their ASD & JK playgrounds! These boards help non-verbal students express themselves and connect during playtime. LHS Senior Lydia Fogleman has received another award this week, she earned the Award of Excellence for two videos she submitted to the Michigan Student Film Festival. She is making history by being the first LHS student to have more than one entry win at this level! Way to go Lydia! Both award-winning projects were created during her HVS Communications Internship. Yesterday, at Lakeland High School’s dual track meet, LHS Junior Andre Neumann broke a 40-year school record in disc! He threw the disc 171 6 ¾. Congratulations Andre! #WeAreHVS

This past weekend, Milford High School Senior Anthony Ralph took first place in the Electrical Construction Wiring competition at the SkillsUSA Michigan State Leadership and Skills Conference in Grand Rapids. He is now headed to the National Championship in June! Way to go Anthony! #WeAreHVS

This morning, Lakeland High School hosted their annual Career Expo. The event started with a welcome and introductions and then the 11th grade students moved to the gymnasium where they could visit different booths. #HVSsuccess #WeAreHVS

Last night, the HVS Board of Education honored the Huron Valley United Boys Swim Team for their record breaking season! Spring Mills Elementary students were also there displaying their Wax Museum presentations for the board members and audience ahead of the meeting. #WeAreHVS
