Youth Assistance offers the following:
Free Family Centered Casework Services
Referrals to Community Resources
Teen Substance use Screening, Assessment and Educational Programs
We help families address home and school behaviors, promoting positive child development, giving guidance, problem solving, and fostering family relationships through short term counseling services.
Our Services Include:
Day and Overnight Camp Scholarships to Low Income Children
Enrichment Scholarships to Participate in Sports, Activities and Positive Learning Experiences
Youth and Family Educational Programs
Youth Assistance recognizes child and youth for the volunteer contributions they give back to our community. Nominations are received from schools and other civic organizations.
Scholarship Guidelines:
To be considered for the HVYA Youth Enrichment Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
The child is a resident of the Huron Valley School District.
The child is under the age of 18.
The child's household income falls within HUD income limits.
