Personal Device/Cell Phone Guidelines

As we continue working together to support the success and well-being of our youngest learners, we want to take a moment to remind families of Board Policy 5136: Personal Communication Devices (PCDs), Administrative Guidelines ag 5136: Personal Communication Devices and the expectations for their use in all of our schools.

At Huron Valley Schools, our goal is to create a school day centered on connection, curiosity, and meaningful learning. To maintain this environment, it’s essential that students remain free from unnecessary distractions—including personal technology.

Our District’s Commitment

Huron Valley Schools is committed to providing a safe and nurturing educational environment for every student. As part of that commitment, Board Policy 5136 and Administrative Guidelines ag5136 outlines clear expectations for the possession and use of Personal Communication Devices during the school day.

These guidelines help ensure that classrooms remain focused and that students can fully engage with their teachers, peers, and learning experiences.
