Mark Goenner is a lunchroom supervisor at Kurtz Elementary and all the students love him. His dedication to Kurtz goes above and beyond, from completing odd jobs at the school to volunteering for PTA activities. Thank you, Mr. Mark for all you do! #HVSsuccess

The HOT Robotics Team is hosting the Milford District Robotics Tournament this weekend in the MHS Fieldhouse. Teams will be competing for playoff positions Friday 11am-7pm and Saturday 9:30am-1pm. The top teams will compete in the elimination tournament 2pm-5pm. #HVSsuccess

About 1,300 Green Eggs and Ham lunches were prepared by our awesome cafeteria team at Muir Middle School today. In honor of Dr. Seuss Day tomorrow, the lunches will be served at our elementary schools and Apollo Early Childhood Center. #HVSsuccess

Caroline Colt is a senior at Milford High School and was selected as one of 32 student-athletes to receive a $2,000 scholarship from the MHSAA/Farm Bureau Insurance. Way to go Caroline! #HVSsuccess

Brandy Badertscher has worked for HVS as a para for about 10 years. She is absolutely phenomenal and a joy to be around. The students are always laughing and smiling when they are with Brandy. She is a sunshine at Milford High! #HVSsuccess

This morning, HV Rec & Ed Future Stars basketball program honored teammate Carson Dunn by giving his mom a picture, jersey and ball with his number on it. Carson died tragically over the summer and a scholarship has been set up in his honor to keep his love for basketball alive.

Local knitting group, Milford Country Clickers, hand made hats and mittens for HVS students. Yesterday, they dropped them off to our buildings. Thank you for helping keep our kids warm throughout the winter. #HVSsuccess

Apollo’s preschool classroom read how polar bears stay warm in the arctic and in the Ocean with the winter blubber they put on under their fur. Then students felt the difference between temperatures through lined and empty plastic bags placed in cold water. #HVSsuccess

Lakewood Elementary kindergarten class had a special guest reader today. They enjoyed a book about snow and a good conversation. #HVSsuccess

Muir Middle School students Jack, Audrina, Griffin, Olivia, Owen and Sam were highlighted at last night’s Board Meeting for the Winter Clothing Drive they created. Board treasurer Lindsay Cotter presented each of them with certificates for all their hard work! #HVSsuccess
