Ms. Hattie's class at Apollo has been working hard learning "whole body listening" and what they CAN do. The kids also worked on their fine motor skills, by cutting, gluing, and coloring their own Mr. Potato head pieces. In groups, they did one part at a time, so they had time to talk about each body part individually and what they can do.

Another great weekend for Huron Valley Marching Band! Saturday, they hosted the Dragon Invitational with Lake Orion at LHS. There were over 1300 spectators and 12 bands from across the state competing. HVMB won flight one and got best visual performance. Then 6 of the bands were chosen to perform again and HVMB placed second! They also won the traveling Dragon award. Congratulations, HVMB!!!

Huron Valley United Racing middle schoolers are currently undefeated in the Michigan Scholastic Cycling Association 2023 race series after 4 out of 6 races!
The high school is tied for 1st place with Brighton Area Schools in the Division 1 scholastic competition after 4 out of 6 races as well!

The first round of new computers for our HVS teachers are being handed out today. A big thanks to our IT department for working hard on getting the laptops set up and thank you Huron Valley Community Coalition for the computer bags!
We would also like to thank the HVS community- the new computers are part of the Bond & Building Site Sinking Fund approved by voters in 2019.
