This past weekend, at Livonia Churchill HS, our band students had an incredible showing at State Solo and Ensemble Festival. We had 25 events perform, with 3 of them receiving Excellent Ratings, and 22 receiving Superior Ratings. Every single performer from HVS medaled. Also, every HVS student who took a proficiency exam passed, you must score over 85 to pass, this is a first for HVS! Congratulations! #HVSsuccess #WeAreHVS

On March 5 & 6, the Lakeland & Milford Wind Ensembles traveled to Waterford Kettering High School to perform at the MSBOA band festival. The Bands both had an incredible performance and both received a final rating of Superior (highest possible), and received straight Superior ratings from all of the concert judges, the sight reading judge, and in all subcategories. This is the first time MHS has gone to Festival in many years. Both bands were professional and represented HVS as top performance groups. #HVSsuccess #WeAreHVS
