Zach Zuber, a Lakeland High School student, has been selected to perform 2nd Horn in the High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City in February. Participation is limited to the highest-rated young performers from across the world.

The students in the SXI classroom at Apollo started a school store this year, they are selling yummy treats to the staff. Students participate in activities related to the Snack Cart daily, from passing out forms to preparing and delivering the orders.

Tonight, HVS Board of Education honored outgoing board member President Sean Carlson for his 14 years of service on the board. With a packed house to say farewell — over a dozen teachers, members of transportation, principals and more were recognized by Mr. Carlson for making an impact on the district and his own children’s lives. The Milford Miracles program raised over $10,000 this holiday season. The program supports local families in need. Mrs. Lutz’s 3rd hour students, many in Leadership class, raised the most funds and helped shop for the adopted families.
