During October, Kurtz Elementary held Hat Day Fridays to raise money for Michigan War Dogs Memorial and they presented the organization with $1,000!

At the MHSAA Cross Country State Finals last weekend, LHS's Pierce Grzymkowski capped his high school career by finishing 20th overall(17th among runners in the team competition) in a time of 15:32.9. Pierce earned All-State honors for his effort.
