The Lakeland Choirs had an OUTSTANDING day performing at MSVMA District Choral Festival last Friday. All three choirs (Concert Choir, Bel Canto, and Lakeland Singers) performed two pieces for three judges, worked with a judge, and sight read. All of our ensembles received I's (the top rating) and sang beautifully. Additionally, Lakeland Singers scored a 118/120 and received two perfect performance scores and a perfect score in sight reading. Congratulations!!

Homecoming Save the Date - The 2026 Homecoming date has been released. The 2026 Homecoming football game will be held on Friday, 10/9 against Livonia Franklin HS at 7:00pm. The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday October 10th, 2026 Please mark your calendars!!! #WeAreLakeland

Lakeland High School’s DECA chapter delivered an outstanding performance at the Michigan DECA State Career Development Conference in Detroit. Competing against more than 5,000 students from across the state, Lakeland members earned an impressive number of awards.
28 Lakeland students were named State Finalists, recognizing them among Michigan’s top competitors. In addition, 13 students qualified to represent Michigan at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta this April.

This spring LHS will be heading out to the Operating Engineers 324 Construction Center in Howell on Wednesday, April 29 from 9-1pm for our Construction Career Days Field Trip. This field trip is open to anyone in 9-12 grade. Students who are interested need to stop in the Career Center to pick up a permission slip and they need to be returned by March 27 in order to attend.
