Seal of Biliteracy

Students have the ability to earn a Michigan Seal of Biliteracy on their L.H.S. diploma. The Seal of Biliteracy Seal was created to recognize our high school graduates who exhibit language proficiency in English and at least one additional world language. The Seal will provide employers with a way to identify individuals with strong language and biliteracy skills. The Seal may also serve as an additional tool for colleges and universities to recognize applicants’ language abilities for admission and placement.

Seal of Biliteracy Application : Follow these directions if you would like to earn your Seal of Biliteracy. The opportunity is open to all students including the seniors in the class of 2026.
