In announcing the appointment, district leaders praised Brodi's dedication to the Muir community and the strong leadership she has demonstrated during her time at the school.

"I am pleased to share that Stacie Brodi has been named the principal of Muir Middle School," Superintendent Dr. Paul Salah said. "I know she is eager to step into this new role. Please join me in congratulating Stacie on her appointment."

Brodi joined Huron Valley Schools in December 2021. She earned her bachelor's degree in education, master's degree in curriculum development and Educational Specialist degree from Oakland University.

Her career in education spans a variety of leadership roles. Before joining Huron Valley Schools, Brodi spent 14 years as a middle school teacher and three years as a student services coordinator. She also participated in the Galileo leadership development program, reflecting her commitment to continuous professional growth.

"I consider myself a lifelong learner," Brodi said.

Outside of school, Brodi enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, kayaking and walking her dog.

As she prepares to begin her new position, Brodi said she is excited to continue building on the school's strong foundation.

"I am very excited to transition to my new role as building principal, and I look forward to continuing the rich traditions that Muir has always exemplified," she said.

Brodi's appointment ensures continuity for the Muir Middle School community as the district continues to focus on student achievement, strong relationships and a positive learning environment.
