Harbor High School students are once again sharing their creativity and artistic talent through the release of the school’s annual literary and arts magazine, Harbor Ink.
Now in its 11th year, Harbor Ink continues to provide students with a meaningful platform to showcase their voices, experiences and artistic expression. Founded in 2014, the creative arts journal is entirely made up of original work produced by Harbor High students and celebrates the imagination and talent found throughout the school community.
This year’s edition features a wide variety of student-created pieces, including poems, personal narratives and micro-fiction writing. The magazine also highlights the work of Harbor’s visual artists through photography, sculpture and 2-D artwork submissions.
Students and staff alike look forward to the annual publication, which not only highlights artistic achievement, but also encourages students to share their perspectives and experiences in creative ways.
Harbor art teacher Mr. Lawson said the pieces included in Harbor Ink “reflect the talent and diverse mosaic of student experiences, showcasing a unique point of view into how they reflect upon their lives and the world through their creativity.”
The publication continues to serve as a celebration of student voice and creativity while inspiring future artists, writers and creators at Harbor High School.
