The school year is off to a great start, and we’re excited to share that Huron Valley Schools continues to make progress on several transformational projects made possible through the 2019 and 2024 bond and sinking fund you have supported. Across the district, multiple projects have reached substantial completion this fall, while others are currently underway or scheduled to begin in the coming months.
At White Lake Middle School, renovation work is currently underway, including updates to locker rooms, flooring, and lighting. The building addition is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026 and be completed in the fall of 2027, with the overall project anticipated to wrap up by the 2028 start of the school year.
We’re also excited to share that construction on the new middle school on the Milford and Heritage campus is planned to break ground in June 2026, with completion expected in summer 2028 and occupancy beginning in fall 2028.
As you can see from the renderings, White Lake Middle School and the new middle school are going to be transformed into an incredible learning environment. These projects are designed to extend the life of our school buildings, enhance safety, and create modern learning environments that support teaching, learning, and student success. We could not have done any of this without our community’s support so on behalf of all students, staff and HVS family, we once again say Thank You!
