Milford, MI – July 24, 2025
Exciting transformations are underway throughout the Huron Valley School District as construction crews work diligently to enhance school facilities and create modern, flexible learning environments. A major focus of the work is White Lake Middle School, where significant upgrades are being made.
Muir Middle School is also receiving updates to better serve its evolving student population in the upcoming school year. Remodeling work is underway and expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
High schools are also seeing significant progress. At Milford and Lakeland High Schools, spaces are being transformed into flexible learning areas to support collaborative, student-centered instruction. New pool filtration systems will be installed at both high schools. At Milford High School, part of the building is being renovated to become the new HVS Administrative Office.
Additionally, the Oak Valley Center is set to be the new home of Huron Valley Recreation and Education, Harbor High School, and the Huron Valley Adult Transition program to further expand the district’s capacity to serve students and the broader community.
These district-wide improvements are made possible through funding from the 2024 Bond and the 2019 Bond and Building & Site Sinking Fund, generously approved by Huron Valley voters. The projects reflect the district’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, innovative educational spaces for all learners.
