MHS Alumnus, Milford Marching Band Drum Major and former Milford Band Staff Corey Jahlas lead the Washington Husky Marching Band during Monday, January 8th College Football Playoff National Championship Game against the Michigan Wolverines! 

Corey is the Interim Associate Director of Athletic Bands at the University of Washington, where he's worked for the last 4+ years. In 2019, Corey earned his Master of Music in Wind Conducting from Central Michigan University, where he instructed The Chippewa Marching Band and was the instructor on record for the Symphony Band and the University Band. Prior to that, he obtained his bachelor's degree in Music Education and Music Theory and Composition from CMU. Finally, as an undergrad in 2012, Corey was a Gold Ambassador for CMU Homecoming.
