Huron Valley Educational Foundation Recognizes Grant Recipients |

The Huron Valley Educational Foundation (HVEF) grant recipients were recognized throughout the month of November by the Board and Trustees of the Huron Valley Educational Foundation. During the 2023-2024 school year over 28 grants will be awarded to the elementary, middle and high school teachers for various programs including financial literacy, science, math, the arts, special needs and technology that directly benefit students in the Huron Valley District. In addition, HVEF awarded a grant to the Huron Valley Council of the Arts, which is a community organization that benefits many students.

"Empowering educators is the cornerstone of progress. Through the generosity of 29 grants, we illuminate the path of knowledge, fostering innovation, and shaping a brighter future for the Huron Valley community. Investing in teachers is an investment in tomorrow's leaders,” said Dr. Nick Peruski.

The Huron Valley Educational Foundation (HVEF) started in 1996 and launched the Endowment Fund in 2005 through 2006 as a 10th anniversary program. HVEF provides support to the students and staff in the District. During this time, HVEF has provided grants to support exceptional educational experiences for students. Over the fifteen years, over 400 grants have been awarded totaling over $500,000 for innovative educational experiences.
