Denise Forrest, Board Vice President

Denise Forrest is in her third year of service on the HVS Board of Education. She has previously served as treasurer. After 30 years, Mrs. Forrest retired from teaching in HVS in 2018. Her passions are in the arts, having been a driving force in the Village Fine Arts Association (now known as the SHAC). Mrs. Forrest and her husband have three daughters who graduated from Huron Valley Schools. They are awaiting the arrival of their second grandchild.

“As I retired from full-time teaching, I realized I was still so passionate about public education. I wanted to continue to advocate for the school children in the district that I love. I know that my years of teaching kids, as well as my knowledge of school finance, educational systems and curriculum can help HVS continue its ultimate goal of Inspiring and Building Futures, One Student at a Time.”
