Huron Valley Percussion opened their season this weekend with a 1st place finish at the Michigan Alliance for Performing Arts Bloomfield Hills Invite. The drumline had a great first show, scoring a 73.7! They are "home" at the WGI Regional at LHS this Sat, 3/2. Way to go HVP!!
This weekend, the Huron Valley Winter Guard competed at the WGI Chicago Regional. This was their 1st WGI competition of the season, & they not only won the Prelims Saturday, but they won again in Finals on Sunday, taking home the Gold Medal with a score of 82.14. Way to HVWG!

In Mid January some Lakeland Leadership and LINK Crew student leaders ventured to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida to learn about Leadership, Teambuilding, and Storytelling. The skills they learned and brought back to Lakeland will help them in the future!
