Lakeland High School

Dear LHS and IAW families, The White Lake Township Fire Chief has advised against having students and staff in our building tomorrow as we look to isolate and correct the portion of our heating and cooling system that caused today’s gas odor. Therefore, classes for LHS and IAW students are cancelled for Wednesday, January 5. We anticipate being able to return to the building on Thursday, January 6. If this information changes for any reason, we will send a follow up email and a robocall. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this building issue. Congratulations to Lakeland Senior Jackson Rose who today passed the national certification test for Microsoft Word 2019! This certification is the same that employers give and are looking for in the workplace. Congrats Jackson!

Congratulations to Lakeland Junior Samantha Schwartz (clarinet) and IA Junior Alex Broadwater (alto sax). For being selected for the MSBOA District IV Honors Band. The honor band will perform at Clarkston High School on January 15th, 2022. Congratulations!
