Eight brave and innovative students in Mrs. Worthington’s AP Physics class took their handmade cardboard boats to the high seas of Lakeland High School’s pool. Alexis Butum and Adam Pluszczyk engineered a boat that beat out the other teams of Tim Person and Nathan Rehm, Katelyn Hotra and Bryce Sweeney, and Nick Hoffon and Dakota Lux. Congratulations to Alexis and Adam. They are reigning boat race champions.
