Yearbook

The Aquila is an annual publication which records the events, images, and experiences of the Lakeland High School community. Distributed during the month of May, the yearbook contains information from the previous year's spring activities and the events of the current year up to March. A staff of 15-20 students collects information, takes photographs, verifies facts and names, and creates layouts using Pagemaker software and additional resources provided by the publisher, Walsworth Publishing. In recent years, the book has moved to an all-color format, while maintaining old traditions such as the Homecoming foldout and senior mock elections.
