Dear Lakeland Families,

We are pleased to announce that Curriculum Night will take place on September 12, 2023 from 5 - 7:30 PM  at Lakeland High School. We look forward to seeing you there for a wonderful evening where parents/guardians can get to know their child’s teachers, classes and Lakeland High School just a little bit better.

The night will begin with an Ice Cream Social in the Atrium where different vendors from the community will be present. In addition, the school store will be open and will be selling a lot of merchandise that will be on sale.

After the ice cream, there will be welcoming announcements from our principal, Ms. Held and our two assistant principals, Ms. Haney and Dr. Carlson in the Center for Performing Arts.

Once the introductions and general information are complete, parents/guardians will be able to walk through the school, just like their child does everyday, starting with 1st hour. We ask that each parent/guardian continues with their child’s schedule until they reach 6th hour. Bells will be scheduled to let participants know when it is time to move on to the next class.

The final culmination of our event will include the opportunity for parents/guardians to go back to any class they missed or have desired follow-up conversations with that teacher.

Thank you in advance for attending Curriculum Night and for your continued support of Lakeland High School. We know that this will be an excellent way to start off the school year and that it will pave the way for a successful year for all Lakeland students.
