The Lakeland HS Athletic Department is excited to welcome Lauren Cooper as the new Varsity Pom Pon Coach. Lauren is a Lakeland HS alumni, Class of 2009. While at Lakeland Lauren earned numerous varsity letters in Poms and was a captain her senior year. Lauren also danced competitively her entire life. Lauren has served as the Head JV Pom Pon coach the past two seasons. Lauren said, "I have been so proud to coach the JV pom team at Lakeland the past 2 years and am truly honored to continue my passion for coaching with the Varsity team."
On a personal level Lauren is a mom of two amazing children and her Berner puppy, Chip!!! Currently Lauren works in Human Resources and loves coffee, organizing, and golf in her free time.
Coach Lauren Copper has announced the official tryouts for the Fall 2022 season will be April 19, 20, and 21 from 5:00-7:00pm in the LHS Field House. Tryouts are open to any current LHS students and incoming 8th graders. A separate posing/communication in regards to tryouts will be coming out this week!!!
