On Saturday, May 31st, varsity baseball won their fourth district championship in a row! In game one, the Eagles defeated Waterford Kettering 1-0. Ethan Rowley pitched 6 1/3 innings of no hit baseball. Jackson Miller closed the game out with a strikeout and ground out. The two combined to throw a no-hitter! Rowley allowed no hits, 2 walks, a hit batter and had nine strikeouts. The win moved Rowley to 10-0 on the season. Miller picked up his 2nd save of the season. The Eagles only run was knocked in by Ethan Yen who was 1 for 3 on the day. Adam Trzcinski scored the only run of the game on Yen's single.
In game two, the Eagles beat Walled Lake Northern 10-0 in 5 innings. Jackson Miller was back on the mound for the Eagles. He went 5 scoreless innings, striking out six, scattering 5 hits. Miller earned his 9th win of the year. Ethan Yen had 4 hits on the day. Cam Chinavare knocked in 4 RBIs. Noah Hogle had two hits and 3 RBI, the last RBI clinched the game and the District Championship.
The Eagles move on to face West Bloomfield in the regional semi finals, at West Bloomfield on Wednesday, June 4 at 12 Noon. (NOTE TIME CHANGE TO EARLIER TIME)

This is an MHSAA event, and all spectators will require a ticket to enter, no passes will be accepted. For fastest entry please pre-purchase your tickets. No cash will be accepted at the gate.
Seating/Spectator Info: There is limited bleacher seating at WBHS, so fans should bring chairs for additional seating. Gates will be open 1 hour prior to the first game of the day. Concessions will be available.
