Dear Maverick Families,
As part of our attendance and academic policies, Milford High School does not recognize or support “Senior Skip Days.” In past years, some students have taken advantage of the idea, resulting in multiple unexcused absences throughout the year. These absences negatively impact student learning/grades and disrupt our teachers’ ability to maintain a consistent and effective instructional pace.
We are aware of rumors regarding a potential “Senior Skip Day” on Monday, November 3rd. We ask for your partnership in reinforcing the importance of daily attendance and helping dispel the idea that “everyone is taking the day off” or that “nothing important is happening.”
Milford High School expects that all students attend school each day, and we appreciate your support in upholding this expectation.

Last night Milford High School held their Fall Academic Honors Ceremony. Congratulations to all who received accolades and thank you to all who participated!

Artwork is on display now until the Open House on October 28th. The Open House will from 4:30pm to 7:00pm on the first floor of the Oakland Schools building.
