Middle school students definitely have an abundance of energy! Staff throughout the building look for ways to channel all of that energy into positive learning experiences. Huron Valley Schools will host two Fall Community Forums in November, giving residents an opportunity to connect directly with Huron Valley Schools Board of Education members. The forums are designed to provide community members with an opportunity to ask questions, share feedback and discuss topics important to students, families and the district. Community members can attend either forum: Wednesday, November 11 | 6–7:30 p.m. Lakewood Elementary School Thursday, November 12 | 6–7:30 p.m. Heritage Elementary School

The weather may have shortened it, but our first week of school was still full of learning. Students in Ms. Kirkpatrick and Ms. Leatch's math classes made connections, worked collaboratively, and solved challenging puzzle problems- all while having a great time. Such a fun way to build skills that students will use this year in math classes and throughout their lives! After a long holiday weekend, we are ready to get back at it for week 2. Go Colts!
