Seniors across Huron Valley Schools marked a major milestone as Decision Day brought excitement, pride, and a look toward the future at both Milford High School and Lakeland High School.
Celebrating the Class of 2026, Decision Day gave students the opportunity to share what comes next—whether that’s college, a skilled trade, the military, or entering the workforce. The event turned school spaces into vibrant showcases of school spirit and future plans, as seniors gathered with friends to capture the moment.
Students posed for photos holding signs and frames highlighting their next destination, proudly announcing choices like Michigan, Michigan State, Hope College, Oakland Community College, and Western Michigan University. “Go Broncos!” one student cheered to the dismay of the several CMU Chippewas in attendance.
In addition to photos, seniors received raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes, adding an extra layer of fun to the day. Laughter and cheers filled the air as students documented their final weeks of high school alongside classmates who have shared their journey.
More than just a celebration, Decision Day highlighted the wide range of paths students are taking after graduation. From universities to trade programs and beyond, the Class of 2026 represents a diverse group of future leaders, each heading in their own direction.
“It’s a big step in everyone’s life,” one organizer shared. “We’re really proud of all the different pathways our students are pursuing.”
As graduation approaches, Decision Day served as a meaningful reminder that while their time in Huron Valley Schools is coming to a close, an exciting new chapter is just beginning.
