On April 17-18 two students from Milford High School's automotive program attended the SkillsUSA State Finals in Grand Rapids, accompanied by their instructor, Mr. Eric Hincka. Will Troger represented the school in the Automotive Electrical category, while Steven Liggett earned first place and was named State Champion in the Maintenance and Light Repair category.
In recognition of his achievement, Steven received various professional tools and scholarship offers. He will advance to the National Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, beginning June 1.
