Cassandra Freiburg has been named Milford's CTE Student of the Year. Cassandra was nominated by CTE teacher Kelsey Breen. She has excelled in both of Breen's Education General classes and is currently doing her Teacher Cadet Practicum at Johnson Elementary in Ms. Nigro's class.
"Cassie has worked hard and shown growth in all aspects of CTE; including learning about child development, projects and lesson plans delivered in our classroom," Breen explains, "and in helping and gaining hands-on work experience."
Cassandra plans on continuing her education and using her experience in CTE to further her knowledge of working with young children. She plans on being a special education teacher. Cassandra currently plays on the Unified Basketball team to help prepare her for her goals and better understand her peers.
