Greetings, skiers and snowboarders! The ski hills have opened for the season. Let’s hope the weather allows them to stay open all season!
Now is the time to get your ski club cards. Our club night is once again on Friday nights, and will run much the same way it has in years past. Club cards, tickets, and rentals for club night must be purchased through the club from me. Students can use their club cards at the window for student rates M-Th, excluding holidays. Parent cards must be purchased through me, but parents will take their cards to the ticket window to purchase lift tickets on club night for student rates. On non-club nights parents can use their cards for $5 off ticket prices. The biggest change I am implementing on my side will be the cut off time for money and registration forms. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get all forms and money in and accounted for, so all registrations will be due on Thursday at noon- no exceptions. On the resort side, they are allowing students with club cards to purchase discounted tickets during holiday break weekdays for $10 off a lift tickets. Valid- 12/23/2024-12/27/24; 12/30/24-1/3/25; 1/20/25; 2/17/25. No weekends and no discount on rentals.
Weekly updates and info will be shared through our Facebook Group, which can be found here:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/muirskiclub/
Please join it to be kept in the loop, as I do not send out email updates.
The patch program will once again be in effect and be enforced. Students must display their patches while skiing, and can only access parts of the resort that correspond to the patch levels they have earned. Students do not have to start over this year. If they earned patches last year they can begin there. All students must be evaluated. If they are amazing skiers and/or earned the top patch last year they can start there. Any questions regarding the patch program and access/ability levels should be directed to Alpine's Ski School.
Attached is the info from Alpine with everything you need to know for reference. Please read through it before asking questions, as I'm sure it will answer most of them. Remember- anyone can join us. They do not have to be an HVS student.
I have Club Cards in my possession and will begin selling them immediately. Alpine only ordered so many, and once they are gone, they are gone. Please use the registration link below to order your cards.
Let me know if there are any other questions, and I can't wait to see you on the slopes!
