Friendly reminder - WLMS is open to families this Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. Please feel free to check lockers, walk schedules and help your student feel ready-to-go for the first day! Students must be accompanied by an adult. The Main Office is open Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Please feel free to drop off Plan of Cares, pick up yearbooks or ask any questions during this time!

WLMS Girls Volleyball season is upon us!! All WLMS 6th - 8th grade girls are welcome to tryout! Below is the tryout information for the 2023-24 season: Mon 8/28 3:30 - 5:00 pm - Skills Day Tues 8/29 - Thurs 8/31 3:30 - 5:00pm - Tryouts Girls will meet in the WLMS Gym. Please bring knee pads, athletic shoes and water (volleyballs are optional if you prefer to use your own. Please make sure it is standard size and is clearly marked with your name). If you are new to WLMS volleyball or have any questions please email Coach Brian Kennedy (brian.kennedy@hvs.org). NOTE: A valid physical (dated on or after 4/15/23) is required in order to participate. Physicals can be uploaded via Final Forms.

WLMS Cross Country optional summer practices start Monday, 8/21 at 9am. Athletes, meet coaches (Mrs. Smith and Mrs. LaRowe) behind WLMS. Summer practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays. Times vary. Please reference the WLMS Cross Country athletics page (https://sites.google.com/hvs.org/wlmscrosscountry/home) for all scheduling information and more!!! NOTE: Final Forms and a valid physical are required prior to participation. Physicals must be dated (by physician) on or after 4/15/23. Go Warriors!!!!

Middle School Girls Volleyball Tournament!! HVS Rec and Ed are sponsoring a girls volleyball tournament for our 3 middle schools. Tournament is Aug 15th 5:00pm - 9:00 pm. Cost is $10. Have bottles and cans lying around? Let us help you turn them into something wonderful for our Warriors!! 💚💛 WLMS PTSA will be running a bottle drive July 5-12! You can drop off bagged returnables to the trailer parked near the student drop off/pick up line at anytime! ALL funds collected with be put towards a new functional outdoor eating and learning space for students (similar to the one pictured below from Lakewood). Please share with friends, family and neighbors! Thank you for your support and any donations!!

Attention all WLMS Track Supporters: There is a $5 admission fee to today's WLMS track meet at LHS. All spectators (including student spectators) will go through admissions at the main gate. Go Warriors!!!!!!!!!

Attention 8th Grade Families: Friendly Reminder - Cedar Point permission slips and payment are due TOMORROW, 4/21/2023! Information packets and permission slips were emailed on 4/10 and 4/18. Paper copies are available in the main office.
