Community members are invited to attend an upcoming informational meeting to learn more about the Oakland County Regional Enhancement Millage proposal that will appear on the August 4, 2026, ballot.
The meetings will take place over the next few weeks at the Oakland Schools Technical Campus locations and are open to all interested Oakland County residents.
The meetings will take place as follows:
May 13, 6:30 pm: Oakland Schools Technical Campus - NE, 1371 Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48340
May 18, 6:30 pm: Oakland Schools Technical Campus - SE, 5055 Delemere Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073
May 19, 6:30 pm: Oakland Schools Technical Campus - SW, 1000 Beck Rd, Wixom, MI 48393
May 27, 6:30 pm: Oakland Schools Technical Campus - NW, 8211 Big Lake Rd, Village of Clarkston, MI 48346
During the session, attendees will receive an overview of the proposed millage from local superintendents, including how funds would be distributed, the estimated impact on taxpayers, and what it could mean for local public school districts and the more than 175,000 students across Oakland County.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask questions.

Funding from the millage helps districts support areas such as student safety, mental health services, instructional programs, and staffing. Each district determines how to use the funds based on the needs of its students and community.

All Cedar Point permission slips, student excursion release forms (2 signatures on the student excursion form please) and payments are due this Friday, May 8th.
Any 8th grader going to Washington DC, please make sure all forms and payment are turned in tomorrow (Thursday)! We will not have a staff member available to collect any forms/payments prior to their departure to DC Friday morning.
A reminder email will go out before 3 pm today with a link to all the necessary forms. Hard copies are available in the main office.

Alexandria Boyd broke the SCHOOL RECORD in the long jump with a jump of 15’9. She also won the 55 hurdles.
Lilly Coates won the shot put
Emerson Nelson won the high jump
Maddy Selahowski won the 100 dash
Whitney Frazier won the 1600 run
Olivia Maisevich won the 400 run
Presley Sopo won the 70 dash and the 200 dash
Brooke Horton won the 800 run
Juliana James won the 200 hurdles

On Monday, 4/20/2026 the boys beat Huron Valley rival Muir 79.5 to 72.5. It was a close meet and the boys pulled it out.
Leading your Falcons were:
Brock Canterbury who won the 100, 70 and the high jump. By winning 3 events he tied a school record scoring 15 points in a meet.
Jack Klein won the 1600 run with a great time of 4:59.9. Jack also won the 800 run
Bryce Borders won the 55 hurdles and the 200 hurdles
Logan Wilcox won the shot put
Elliot Baldes won the 3200 run
Adam Burnsfied won the 400
Owen Tidbury won the long jump
On Wednesday the Boys team ran against Steam from Farmington. They won 125-27.
There were many great performances including Brock Canterbury breaking the 100 dash school record with a time of 11.93 breaking Brian Walkers record from 2001.
The team is 2-0 . Yesterday's meet was called due to incoming inclement weather.
