Friendly reminder - 8th Grade Cedar Point permission slips and payment are due tomorrow! Reminder emails with links to the parent letter, permission slip and season pass FAQ was sent at 2:00 pm today.


Attention 7th Grade Parents - There is a Washington D.C. parent meeting for next year's class trip to Washington D.C. tonight at 6:00 pm in the Cafeteria. Come and get information about the trip, registration and payment plans. Mrs. Fitzhorn will be there to walk you through the information and answer any questions.

The Girls won 122-30
Some Key performances were:
Oliva Mustonen won the 1600 run and the 400 dash
Haley Hewitt won the 55 hurdles and the 70 dash
Grace Jambeck won the high jump and the 800 run
Berkley Connolly won the 200 hurdles
Lexie Morris won the 3200 run and the long jump
Lilly Coates won the shot put
The girls are now 1-2 on the season
The Boys won 109-43
Some key performances were:
Tyler Johns tied a school record by winning 3 individual events and scoring 15 points in the meet. He won the 1600 run, the 800 run and the 3200 run.
Boys 4x100 relay team of Brennan Baker, Easton Meek, Jackson Meador and Oliver Moyer broke the school record with a time of 49.46. The old record was 49.48.

Both teams run our next meet, next Thursday against Oak Valley in a Huron Valley showdown. The meet is at Lakeland and starts at 4:00.

Some of our WLMS 7th and 8th grade band students performed for Oxbow's 5th grade. We are excited for the Class of 2031!


Yesterday the WLMS Track teams traveled to South Lyon for our 1st meet of the 2025 season. We ran against 2 teams. We did some good things for our 1st meet.
The Boys split going 1-1

Reminder for Tuesday - April 15th
6th and 7th graders have a Virtual Learning Day tomorrow.
8th graders will take the PSAT in the morning at WLMS. There will be alternative activities for those 8th graders remaining at school after testing. Please remind your 8th grader to bring their CHARGED CHROMEBOOK AND CHARGER to school!

On Saturday the White Lake Wrestling team competed with 38 schools at the Oakland County Championship in Lake Orion We had 2 wrestlers who earned a 2nd place silver medal.
Congratulations to Blake Miller and Donovan Muehlhausen!

Reminder - WLMS Track Team Parent Meeting is TONIGHT at 7:00 pm in our Cafeteria! Join our coaches and get information about the season, schedule, Final Forms, clothing orders and more! First practice is Monday, 3/17.


WLMS Science Warriors competed at the Oakland County Regional Competition on Saturday, March 1st. Our team took 10th place and earned medals in the following events: Crime Busters, Entomology, Experimental Design, Ecology, Metric Mastery, Mission Possible, Meteorology, Reach for the Stars, Write It Do It, Optics, Potions and Poisons, and Air Trajectory (improving from receiving medals in only 5 events last year)!






Congratulations to Melody Guerra-Edwinson and Kenzie Barendse who were both awarded a spot in the Top 18 middle school art entries in the state for the Michigan Art Education Association (MAEA) Student Art Exhibition. Their artwork will be on display at the Hickman Gallery from March 17-April 5, 2025. Congratulations to Melody and Kenzie!


Attention 8th grade families - The Incoming Freshmen Expo is TONIGHT at LHS from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Please see the flyer below for additional details. This is a fantastic event that allows our students and families the opportunity to learn more about Lakeland High School, its academics, programs, clubs and sports.


8th grade Design students had a great visit to the DIA learning about the "hero's journey" and exploring the museum to look for artwork they connected with.

If your student is interested in joining, don’t miss our Parent Information Night on March 11th at 7:00 PM in the White Lake Middle School Library (all information will be available online if you can’t make it). Track is an awesome sport for students of all skill levels—whether they’re sprinters, distance runners, or just looking to try something new, everyone is welcome!
