Thursday (tomorrow) - Lakeland Spirit Day!! Lakeland and Milford go head-to-head this week. Show your Lakeland Spirit!!
Friday - MSU/UofM Spirit Day! Show off your spirit for your MSU or U of M as they go head-to-head this Saturday!
Friendly reminder - our 8th grade class picture will be tomorrow morning at 8:30 am. Students will report to 1st hour as normal. Order information will be sent home as soon as it is available!

Information packets were sent home with those students who attended the info meeting during 6th hour yesterday. Packets are available in the main office for those students who were not able to attend.

Both our 7th and 8th grade Volleyball Teams walked away with "W"s yesterday against Muir Middle School. Congrats Warriors!!
WLMS Cross Country practice is also cancelled today due to impending weather. Congratulations to our Warriors on their win yesterday against Walnut Creek!
Our Flag Football intramural is cancelled today due to the expected rain. We have added 10/17 to the schedule as a make-up date.
Science Olympiad Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, October 9th. This is to give students additional time to sig-up!

Weekly Warrior Correction - Pokémon Go! Intramural - Today is the first day for this intramural. It is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays (dates on the permission slip are accurate).
Is your student interested in participating? It is not too late to sign-up. Your student can turn in the completed permission slip to the main office. Payment can be made via e-Funds.

Reminder - Curriculum Night is tonight! You will have the opportunity to travel your child’s schedule and listen to the teachers discuss the curriculum and expectations for the 2023-2024 school year. Below is our schedule:

2nd Hour: 6:20 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
3rd Hour: 6:35 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
4th Hour: 6:50 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The Race to Raise has been officially kicked off!
This is our PTSA's only fundraiser for the year. It is intended to fund planned activities for the entire 23-24 school year. This includes student activities, parties, recognition events, WLMS staff needs and a Glow Fest for our students.
On the day of the event (10/5/2023), all students will walk to the LHS track during their electives, where they will receive a free WLMS shirt and walk/run the track. We will be raffling off prizes during the event and all students who raise $50 or more will be automatically entered to win!
