Fans! Lakeland High School, Lakeland Leadership, and Lakeland Athletics are proud to host the 2024 HVS Community Fireworks on Friday, September 20th when our Eagles take on the Vikings of Walled Lake Central in Varsity football action. Come on out for a great night of football, fun, and fireworks on Sept 20th. The HVS Community Fireworks are presented by Mulligans Heating Inc. and sponsored by the ArborOakland Group, Furnace, Ovens, and Baths, and Basements Plus Waterproofing and Finishing.

Friendly reminder - Curriculum Night is TONIGHT! The event will start at 6:00 pm in our Gym. Parents/guardians will have an opportunity to walk their students' schedules and listen to their teachers discuss the curriculum and expectations for this school year (don't forget your students' schedule(s)). The event will run 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. This event is for parents/guardians only.

Orientation!!!! Our amazing WEB Leaders have been hard at work getting ready for our 6th graders! Our 6th Grade Orientation is tomorrow (8/29/2024) 9 am - 11 am! This is a student-only event. Parents, you may drop your 6th Grade Warrior off in front of the main doors. Our WEB Leaders and Staff will greet them and show them the way!
We have orientation for any new 7th or 8th grade student tomorrow 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm. This is also a student only event. Parents may drop off in front of the main doors.
WLMS Families - our air conditioning is currently being repaired (workers are onsite). It is warm and sticky inside. Please dress accordingly if you plan on coming to our building today!
Welcome Warrior Families! Our building is open to WLMS families this week. Families can come in, walk students schedules and setup lockers. Below is the schedule:
Monday 8/26 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Tuesday 8/27 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Wednesday 8/28 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Thursday 8/29 11:00 am - 5:30 pm (note later start time)
Friday 8/30 - Building is closed
All students must be accompanied by an adult.
The main office will be open 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Wednesday). The main office will close at 1:00 pm on Thursday for medical training. Medical Plan of Care forms and medications may be dropped off during this time.

Lost and Found!!!!!!!
Our last day of school is only a couple days away! Don't forget to have your student check the lost and found (located in the Cafeteria) before the last day of school. Any remaining items will be either discarded or donated.
Yearbooks are in! There are a limited number of yearbooks still available for purchase.
Students can purchase yearbooks in the main office during normal school hours starting today on a first come, first serve basis.
The cost for each book is $65 and can be paid by cash (exact change only) or check (made payable to: White Lake Middle School). All sales are final.
Yearbooks are here! Pre-ordered yearbooks were distributed to students during 4th hour today. Any student who is absent today can check in with Mrs. Fitzhorn tomorrow.
Didn't pre-order a yearbook? No worries - we have extras! An email will be sent to parents later this week with cost and purchase information.
Is your student interested in a summer sports program? Check out all the summer programs offered by Lakeland Athletics!
WLMS Design students recently learned the process of screen printing and were each able to make their own screen with a positive message or an accompanying graphic image. They collaborated to combine these screens to create the posters that the class on Friday. Students were able to make a few t-shirts thanks to a donation.
We hope you enjoy a little extra positivity for the end of the school year!!
