4th graders had a visit from the Highland Fire Department as part of our school wide safety week!
The Scholastic Book Fair is here! Students have an opportunity to shop during the school day until Friday morning. However, if you want to shop with your child, it is open after school on Wednesday from 4:30-7:00pm.

The students in Mrs. Adam's 3rd grade class were having fun testing each other on multiplication facts with multiplication tents.

The students in Ms. Day's class worked together in groups to talk about the character traits of an "ultimate classmate". They practiced compromise, respectful communication, and teamwork as they chose the traits of a great leader, team name and design of their classmate poster.
The staff presented the 3 rules of our school by having students rotate through 6 different areas of the building learning the expectations. They learned to be safe, be respectful and be responsible in the cafeteria, the playground, hallway and the front of the school.

Fifth graders started the year off on a good foot! The first day was packed with new friends and old, discussions on leadership in the school, a little grade level team building, and of course...the last first day of elementary school photo shoot! Here's to a great 2023-24 year!
