Oxbow's 2023 Color Fun Run was another great success! Great job running Owls!

This morning Oxbow Mathletes played Star Track. This game helps us with measurement, counting, number sense, addition and observational skills.

Oxbow Mathletes are at it again! Here they are playing Fab-A-Diffy to work on fraction representation, equivalence, and addition and subtraction of fractions.

Color Fun Run sure makes for a fun Friday Owls!

Oxbow's color fun run is off to a great start! Thank you to our OPC and Leo's Coney Island of White Lake for helping to create a fun day for our students. Go kids go!!!

Congrats to Nikki in Mr. Dobrin's class for creating a hand stand contest during PE's free choice funday!

Mrs. Page's "Owls on the Move Wall" is filling up! She is looking for more students to send a picture of themselves doing something active outside. Feel free to add in the comments section of our FB post, or they can bring one in on their PE day. Keep up that energetic movement Owls!

Oxbow Mathletes practiced the game Ramrod today. This game works on problem solving, patterning, networks, observational skills, and deductive & inductive reasoning.

Attention all Owls! The Yearbook Cover Contest is under way! Entries are due by noon on October 13. Please drop off entries at the front office, Mrs. Page, Ms. McGinnis, or your student's teacher.

Oxbow Mathletes are on a roll playing Stars & Bars which works on active problem solving; computational reasoning involving addition and algebraic principles; logical/scientific reasoning and spatial/geometric reasoning.

Oxbow Mathletes are playing FIAR (Four In A Row) this morning. Working on structural analysis of space to construct a linear path and scientific reasoning involving observational skills, patterning, hypothesizing and experimentation.

Our JK Owls enjoyed the medium of paint and creating different color patterns in art class!
