Free choice for Division 3 this morning's Mathletes. After playing a round of Queens and Guards together, they each decided they wanted to challenge Ms. Nicole to a different game AT THE SAME TIME! Anthony chose Juggle and Sammie chose Contig 60. They're excited for another round of Mathletes to start next Friday and hope more friends will join!

Oxbow Mathletes are going strong playing Kwatro-Sinko this morning. As they try to make a line whose algebraic equation results in a total of 4 or 5, they are working on addition, subtraction, even and odd numbers, networks and observational skills.

This week Mrs. Walker's class worked on First Grade Phonics Fun! They used "secret sentences" to practice reading and writing. They had to use their phonics power and had to remember CAPS (Capitalization, Appearance, Punctuation, Spelling) for their writing! What fun!

Oxbow Staff had a wonderful Michigan vs. State Tail Gate Breakfast this morning! It was a great kick off to our friendly rivalry. Go Blue! Go Green!
