Fourth graders in Mr. Mauller's technology classes have been learning how to make stop motion videos. They use the iPads to take pictures, then use an app called Stop Motion Studio to edit everything together.

In celebration of March Madness, Johnson PE teacher Chris Browne offered (at no cost) intramural basketball for all Johnson students grades K-5. The program ran after school and provided a fun and safe place for students to learn about and engage in some basketball fun. Thank you Mr. Browne!

In science, second graders at Johnson are learning about reversible and irreversible changes in matter caused by heating and cooling. They enjoyed watching eggs, flour, and marshmallows change. Most of all, they enjoyed eating the pancakes!

Don't forget to keep track of your child's reading this month on their Reading Bingo sheet. Each week that they get a bingo, they can bring the sheet to Mrs. C. and claim a prize for that week. And the classroom with the most bingos at the end of the month gets a special ice cream party from the PTA!
