LATE ARRIVALS

Morning Arrival Procedures

First Bell: Rings at 9:10 AM. Doors open and students may enter the building.

Tardy Bell: Rings at 9:15 AM. At this time:

  • All outside doors are locked.

  • Students arriving after 9:15 AM are considered tardy.

  • A parent or guardian must sign them in at the vestibule near the front office.

  • The student should ring the bell, and office staff will let them inside. We will get the student to their class.

EARLY DISMISSALS

Early Student Pick-Up Procedures

If you plan to pick your student up before 3:30 PM, there is no need to call ahead. Simply come to the vestibule, sign them out, and ring the bell to let us know who you are picking up. Please be prepared to show your ID—it is required.

Reminder: Only individuals listed on your student’s emergency contacts may pick them up. You can update emergency contact information anytime through your Family Access account.

After 3:45 PM:
Students will not be called to the office for dismissal without prior notice. If you need to pick your child up after this time, please call the office before 3:30 PM so we can make the necessary arrangements.

CHANGE IN THE WAY A STUDENT IS GOING HOME

If your child will be going home a different way than usual, please call the office before 3:30 PM to let us know. We will notify their classroom of the change at the end of the day.

Even if your child is aware of the new plan, we would still like to hear from you so we can remind them and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Important:
If your student normally rides the bus but tells us they’re getting picked up—and we don’t have a call or note from you—they will be placed on the bus if you are not in the pickup line. If you arrive before the bus leaves, we can get them off the bus. Otherwise, you will need to meet them at their regular bus stop.
