Today our students joined millions of children around the world for Project ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously)! 🌎💪 Started in 1989 by PE teacher Len Saunders, this event—known as the world’s largest exercise class—inspires kids everywhere to build healthy habits through movement. #ProjectACES #MoveToLearn

Another auction experience was had this week! What an exciting week for first graders! This morning, these students got to enjoy a waffle breakfast with their first grade teachers! Sounds like a delicious start to a fun Friday!🧇🥓♥️
First graders from Ms. Williams' class got to enjoy a firetruck ride to school earlier this week! The two students won this experience from the auction that took place back in the fall. 🚒🧑🚒

Hi Lakewood Families and Friends! Friday April 24th, TODAY is our annual Talent Show @LAKELAND HIGH SCHOOL.
The show starts at 6:00 and students performing in the first act need to be checked in near the entrance to the auditorium. A Sign will mark the "Talent Stars" Check-in table. Parents/guardians can check-in and say their well wishes and hugs, as early as 5:30, and we want ALL of the first Half in their "holding area" no later than 5:45. The second half of performers will sit in the audience WITH THEIR PARENTS, until intermission, where they will check-in those performing in the 2nd half. The first half of student performers will then join you back in the audience (so be sure to save enough seats for them).
At the very end of the show, students in the 2nd half will already be backstage and go to stage as well as the first half of performers in the audience, we will call up on stage for a group photo, and receive a gift for participating and giving it all you got on stage!!
See you all TONIGHT!

Today, the middle schoolers came to Lakewood to show the 5th grade some of the fine arts options for next year! Be sure to ask your student what they are interested in! 🎷🎺🪈
Girl Scouts is having a Family Information Meeting on Wednesday April 29th in the Lakewood Media Center at 5pm. Please come listen and consider joining. It is a fun way to get your daughter(s) to get involved and a great way to meet people within the school and community.
