Dear Kurtz Families,

We are absolutely thrilled to share the incredible results of our biggest fundraiser of the year — the Color Run! With your support, we surpassed our $25,000 goal and raised a record-breaking $37,429.82!  We are now able to cover our entire proposed budget and add additional experiences to enrich our students' education at Kurtz! 

This amazing achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the entire school community. Thank you to:

• Our community and family t-shirt sponsors and classroom sponsors

• The families who helped students collect donations

• Our dedicated teachers and team leaders who kept the excitement going in their classrooms and beyond

• And our amazing volunteers, especially those who weren’t afraid to get messy and colorful so the kids could have an unforgettable time!

To ensure fairness, winners were calculated based on the percentage of the fundraising goal met, rather than the total dollar amount raised — since class and grade sizes vary. This allowed every group a fair shot at the fun rewards! Leaderboards were closed at 10AM on Friday, but FundHub will remain open and accepting donations through Friday, October, 3.

 Classroom Winners:

• 2nd Place: Mrs. Fontaine – Glow in the Dark PE class with Mr. Brugger

• 3rd Place: Mrs. Hathaway – Mini Air Dry Clay Club with Mrs. Kaczor

 Grade Level Winners:

• 1st Place: Fourth Grade – Pizza Party

• 2nd Place: First Grade + Mrs. Tabbert – Cider & Donut Party + Extra Recess

• 3rd Place: Third Grade + Mrs. Felt – Popcorn & Movie Party
