OUTDOOR RECESS POLICIES!
Winter is HERE! Make sure your students are prepared!
Please remember that you must send your students to school with the proper cold weather gear. A heavy coat, Gloves, hats, and snow pants. If a student doesn't have boots or snow pants, they will be told that they have to stay on the blacktop areas of the playground. We may have a small selection of coats and boots that can be borrowed for that recess, but we can't always guarantee that there will be something available for them to wear. Those items MUST be returned after the recess is over. It is important that they remember THEIR things from home.
Students will be expected to go outside for recess unless the wind chill is 0 degrees or lower. They will then have indoor recess. A Doctors note must be provided in cases where the student is not able to go outside. We cannot accept letters from parents. It must be from a Dr.
