Spring Mills Elementary has added a little fun to our recent makeover! Our mascot Sharky now graces the walls near the entrance, thanks to the vision and craftsmanship of former art teacher, Austin Fabinski. Take a look at Sharky’s progress as Mr. Fabinski brought his creation to life.
According to Mr. Fabinski, “The best part of painting Sharky was seeing the faces of my old students as they saw it come to be. They saw their old art teacher work as a full-time artist, which I always taught the kids was possible if you work hard for it, and believe in yourself!” Mr. Fabinski, now working solely as an artist, was commissioned to create the mural at Spring Mills. Mr. Fabinski, and his work, is just one example of how Spring Mills embraces our district motto; inspiring and building futures, one student at a time.
