After two rounds of interviews and a thorough screening process involving a committee of administrators, educators, and parent representation, Huron Valley Schools is proud to announce Adam Wager as the new principal of Spring Mills Elementary School.
“With his passion for education, collaborative leadership style, and student-centered approach, Mr. Wager is well-prepared to guide Spring Mills forward while continuing to nurture a supportive environment for all learners”, Superintendent Paul Salah said.
Wager has been an educator for more than 15 years, with five of those in Huron Valley Schools. He was a teacher at Johnson Elementary and White Lake Middle School before taking on the role as a (PBIS) Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports Coordinator.
Mr. Wager said of the announcement, “I am thrilled to begin this new chapter in school leadership -- and even more excited to do so as part of such a warm, dynamic and student-centered community.”
Adam’s two children attend Huron Valley Schools and his wife, Natalie, is a special education teacher at White Lake Middle School.
“I am committed to building on the strong foundation that already exists at Spring Mills and to working alongside our talented staff, supportive families, and—most importantly—our incredible students to make this school year a great one”, Wager said. “I look forward to meeting you all and I am excited to become a part of the amazing Spring Mills family.
