Bounce houses

Spring Mills Elementary kicked off what’s sure to become a beloved tradition with its first annual Spring Fling—and the night couldn’t have been more perfect! Families filled the school grounds on a warm, sunny evening to enjoy a celebration packed with food, activities, and community spirit.

The most popular stops of the night? With a steady line from start to finish, students waited patiently at the face painting station to be transformed into everything from sparkly butterflies to fierce tigers. Smiles stretched ear to ear as kids proudly showed off their colorful new looks. The caricature artist created whimsical portraits for students and their families to take home as keepsakes from the special night.

Another highlight of the evening was the special appearance by Huron Valley’s HOT Robotics Team, who wowed students with a hands-on activity. Kids had the chance to design and fly their own paper airplanes, learning a little bit about STEM while having a whole lot of fun.

The fun didn’t stop there! Bounce houses kept kids busy jumping and racing, while yard games gave families a chance to play and laugh together. Families cooled off and filled up thanks to a lineup of delicious food trucks. Thank you to DJ Meats, Bueno Tacos and Hobo Coffee Truck offering everything from tacos, BBQ to sweet drinks.

With a warm breeze, clear skies, and lots of laughter in the air, the night was a perfect way to wrap up the school year and kick off summer fun. A huge thank you to the PTO, staff, volunteers, vendors, and the HOT Robotics Team for making the event such a hit.
