Oxbow Elementary

On Thursday January 22nd, our English Language Development students had a wonderful time during their first Creative Cooking Club after-school program! This program is led by our ELD teachers and is a tutoring program for several of our ELD students. The theme for the first session was friendship. Students enjoyed getting to know one another while creating their first recipe, a friendship snack mix. They also learned what every chef needs, including an apron and chef’s hat, which they had the chance to personalize.
