Complete Finn’s Mission to earn your very own Lifesavers Cape and Students that
complete Finn’s Mission will earn an entry for two tickets to Super Bowl LX in
2026 and your school will be entered to
receive a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover for every 18 students
who complete Finn’s Mission.

How 'bout them lions? Some of our third grade boys coordinated their own spirit wear day to show their "One Pride!"
With the temperatures dropping, we wanted to send a quick reminder that the students do go outside to recess every day for 20 minutes and sometimes an extra recess with their classroom. Recess will be outside everyday as long as the temps are above 15 degrees (with a wind chill/Real Feel being above 0 degrees).
Please send your student(s) to school with their winter coats, snow pants, hats, gloves/mittens and boots.
Also, please have a conversation about wearing this gear to recess and not leaving it in their locker, there were far too many kids who went out unprepared today! It is freezing outside!
The Kick-Off event for the Kids Heart Challenge will be on Jan 10th. It will again be in the form of an assembly! Fundraising will be done the remainder of January, and the Kids Heart Challenge District culminating event will be on Saturday, February 1st. More details to come!
Calling all artists! Lakewood is asking hawks to enter the yearbook cover contest again this year and showcase their talent for all to see! Students of any age can enter, using any medium of art. It must fill a 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper, and should be free of words and letters. This years theme is "Lakewood is United". Please include name on the back and submit before 1/17/25.

The White Lake Township Police Dept. has gone above and beyond supporting the needs of Lakewood students this year. Not only do they donate snacks for students to enjoy while at school, they have donated snack bags to go home with students who need snacks over the holiday break! We are so thankful to our police department!

The library has been transformed into Whoville this week for the Who-li-day shop!! Kids are having a blast shopping for their family, friends and pets. Thank you to our hard working PTA and other volunteers for making this event so special for our Hawks!
