February is National Career and Technical Education Month. We are proud of our HHS students that attend Oakland Schools Technical Campus and are developing skills to help make them successful after high school!

It's school bus driver appreciation day! Thank you to the HVS bus drivers that get us safely to school and back each day. We appreciate you!

Reminder: No school Monday, February 19 & Tuesday, February 20 for mid-winter break. Enjoy the extra long weekend!

Harbor gear order forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Zambito. This year we are offering hoodies, zip-up hooded sweatshirts, and t-shirts. This years design features a wave and the quote "You can't control the waves, but you can learn to navigate the current." Order forms and money (cash or check) are due by March 1st.

Reminder: Friday, February 16th is a half day for Harbor students. Dismissal will be at 12:00.

Reminder: Harbor leadership is running a can and bottle drive for charity. Please drop off any returnables in the front vestibule of the building.

January is School Board Appreciation Month. Harbor High wants to thank our HVS school board for supporting us!

February 6 is a half day. Harbor students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm.

Reminder: Harbor students will have a half day on Friday, January 19 for teacher development. Students will be released at 12:00.

Reminder: All HVS schools will be closed for MLK day on Monday, January 15.

Happy Holidays from HHS Staff!

Candy grams for sale! Leadership students will have candy grams for sale in the lunchroom Monday, December 11 through Tuesday, December 19. The cost is 50 cents per candy cane. They will be delievered during 5th hour on Tuesday, December 19.

Picture retake day is November 29th during 1st and 2nd hours. Students that were absent last picture day and new students will have their picture taken for yearbook. Order forms are available in the office.

Reminder: Harbor's second trimester classes begin Monday, November 27! Students can pick up a paper copy of their schedule from their first trimester first hour teacher. New students will receive a copy of their schedule from the front office.

It's World Kindess Week! Take special care this week to try to be kind to others and make Harbor and the world a nicer place.

First trimester finals will take place on Thursday, November 16 (1st, 2nd & 3rd hours) and Friday, November 17 (4th and 5th hours). There will be no school for Harbor students the week of November 20. Second trimester begins on Monday November 27.

Trimester 2 new student orientation will take place Friday, November 17th from 11:00 a.m.-Noon.
