School pride, high-flying energy, and a sea of blue kicked off this year’s Falcon Frenzy, a blockbuster fundraising event that brought together students, families, and staff for an extraordinary day of community spirit. Thanks to the incredible generosity and hard work of our school community, students raised over $23,000 to support our PTSA and its ongoing programs for our school!
The excitement started early in the morning before the first bell even rang. Students arriving at school were greeted by a hilarious and unforgettable sight: Principal Mrs. Chotkowski and Assistant Principal Dr. Peruski were perched on the school roof, decked out in flamingo costumes to welcome everyone to campus and set the festive tone for the day.
Morning Fun and Games
Throughout the morning, students participated in a variety of energetic outdoor and indoor activities. The campus was buzzing with excitement as students raced through a massive inflatable obstacle course, tested their skills at the football toss, enjoyed delicious treats, and took part in a wide range of fun games designed to celebrate their fundraising achievements.
Assembly Showdown: Teachers Honor Their Promises
The day reached its grand finale with an all-school assembly packed into the gymnasium. The school mascot, Flex the Falcon, was on hand to get all of our students fired up and cheering, while Mrs. LaRowe kept the energy soaring as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the event.
The highlight of the assembly was watching staff members make good on the fun incentive promises earned by the students for hitting their fundraising goals:
Pie in the Face: Mrs. Haas took one for the team, receiving a classic pie straight to the face to roaring applause.
Silly String Showdown: Mrs. Morgner was covered head-to-toe in brightly colored silly string.
Hot Dog Eating Contest: A high-stakes hot dog eating contest featured a brave battle between Mr. Topper, Mr. Bageris, Mr. Turner, and Mr. Lippitt.
Human Ice Cream Sundae: Mr. Bonanni volunteered as the ultimate dessert, getting turned into a giant human ice cream sundae complete with sweet toppings.
Bug-Eating Challenge: Showing true Falcon bravery, a couple brave teachers awarded students by eating chocolate-covered bugs!
A Huge Thank You!
Events like the Falcon Frenzy highlight what makes our school community so special. A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our incredible students, supportive families, dedicated staff members, and hard-working PTSA volunteers who helped organize, contribute to, and participate in this wildly successful and fun-filled day.
Congratulations Falcons on an amazing achievement!
