A big congratulations to Sarah Cuddeback and Denise Endicott, who received HVEF grants presented by Jennifer Hollander, HVEA President!
📚 Sarah got funding for our One School, One Book program—we can’t wait to see which book she picks!
🔢 Denise received two grants: one for Heritage to provide a math tool cart for every grade level, and one for Highland Elementary to fund STEM bins for grades 2–5 (with some materials coming to Heritage too!).

Hunter, a second grader in Mrs. Smarsty’s class, was thrilled to share the excitement with his classmates. The entire class had the opportunity to tour the fire truck and learn about the many tools firefighters use to keep our community safe.
We are so fortunate to have the brave men and women of the Highland Township Fire Department supporting our school. Thank you for creating such a special memory for our students!
